Our party will include a slideshow of pictures from throughout the year.
If you have any pictures you would like to include,
please get them to us
by Monday May 3rd.
Email them to jgetman@midyork.org
Or, bring in hard copies.

If you would like a copy of the slideshow,
we decided to buy a discounted pack of DVDs
so it will just be a $1 each.
Please let Jill know if you want a copy
by May 10th

so we can have them ready.

By May 12th
Please bring a piece of artwork that your child would like to
display in our Early Lit Art Show that will hang in the gallery
from May 18th-June 2nd.

Also on May 12th
We will be "bubble painting."
I recommend that your child wears old clothes
in case the get a little soapy food coloring on them.

Vacation Days

Just a reminder--
We do have class on days that the
school takes off for unused snow days.
Older children are welcome to come play with
our board games, etc. if you like.

There is NO CLASS during April Vacation (the 19th & 21st).
I do encourage you to sit down with your child and:
  • play with ABC flashcards
  • (if you're keeping the letters from each week they work great)
  • read 2 stories back to back
  • Say our new Days of the Week Rhyme (I'll post that too)
  • Do any sort of coloring or craft
  • Write/trace letters
  • Count while you wait for things, give them pieces or something, etc.

Also,
Come to Friday Story Hour!
It's a story, craft, and snack.
Sound familiar...

*****
All this little things make a big difference when they come back.
A week may not seem like long to us,
but it makes a huge difference when we try to get back into our routine.
